India Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), November 25: According to police, a father-son pair from Tamil Nadu was arrested for suspectedly taking jewellery and other valuables from Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey.Officials said that the Bhojpuri film actress, Dubey, had lodged a lawsuit with Kotwali Nagar police alleging that unidentified men had robbed jewelry and other valuables from her hotel room on Thursday.The actress had arrived to Ayodhya with her mother for a photo shoot and was staying in room number 415 and 416 of a hotel in the Kotwali Nagar district.According to the police, the theft occurred around 06.30 a.m., and the estimated value of the stolen jewelry was rs25 lakh.

When the actress returned and discovered her possessions missing from the room, it was revealed.The police were alerted immediately after, and a case of robbery was confirmed against unidentified men.According to additional SP Madhuban Singh, they scanned the hotel's CCTV footage and followed the two suspects, who were seen entering the actress room and leaving with the bag.The suspects were arrested in the Badi Bua Crossing area, according to Singh, who said that we released our local intelligence and that the suspects were apprehended.
