YSRC members attend the nomination of Murmus

Vijayawada: When NDA presidential nominee Draupadi Murmu submitted here nomination in Delhi on Friday, the YSR Congress MPs, V Vijayasai Reddy and P V Midhun Reddy, represented the party.Both Vijayasai Reddy and Midhun Reddy signed the Murmu nomination papers on behalf of their party, representing party president and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was busy with the planned cabinet meeting back home.The YSR Congress, which had 4.22 percent of votes, endorsed the NDA candidate, who was short of 2.33 percent, giving proper representation to the Scheduled Tribes and adhering to the principle of social justice.He said his state assembly in Andhra Pradesh was also adhering to social justice by ensuring equal representation for every demographic segment of the population.

Since the start of the presidential election process, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president J P Nadda are in close contact with Jagan Mohan Reddy.Meanwhile, R Krishnaiah and S Niranjan Reddy, members of Rajya Sabha, took the oath in Parliament House on Friday.M Venkaiah Naidu, the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, administered the oath to the new members, who were elected recently.
